a ballad for you

the songs that come out of me are therapeutic….it's how i deal with life…they're for me & I share them just bc….bc that's what u do…you adapt…to the times….and to think that david bowie is gone….it truly hasn't set in….bowie's vision was singular & genius….he saw it before it was there….he created it from the thin blue air…from nowhere…he created it….& so can you…..that's the beauty of art….that's the beauty of life….so wear your heart on your sleeve…don't be afraid to express everything inside….let it out…..i do….

You wear your heart
Upon your sleeve

You play the part
Got what you need

Now we're getting older now
The little ones have come around
Looking for food to eat
Don't forget to clean their feet
I'm nothing
Nothing
Without you
I'm nothing
Nothing
Without you
You wear the sweater I bought for you
You ask me things I want to do
