request for interview with blink writer malcolm gladwell

i've requested interviews via publicists before but my first impulse inspired by the book "blink" was to reach out to malcolm via twitter/fb/blogspot instead of calling up some recent ivy grad & trying to convince her to pitch malcolm on the idea of being interviewed by me for my blog.
