the fact that this movie got made at all without the help of a kickstarter campaign is a testament to dave grohl and what kind of man he is. what kind of person he is. he's not a judge on idol. he's making a documentary about probably one of the most influential studios ever in rock. neil young, fleetwood mac, tom petty and nirvana recorded there. to get that famous "drum" sound. you've got to watch the film. it's streaming for $4 on amazon. $4 for a trip down rock & roll lane. frank black makes an appearance. and rick springfield. i'm not sure how the record for the film turned out, but the film rocks. literally. there goes my hero (with my wife, back in the day).
