BK, (Before Kids) my wife surprised me with a trip to Amsterdam for my bday. I'm so lucky to have her in my life. Of course, this was BK :) And although it's not #TBT, I still like to reminisce. I definitely could see myself living in Amsterdam. I could see myself living there right now. With the kids. Driving a bike with them in tow through fields of flowers. As if my American life was just a dream. But as KV says, "The only constant in life is reality." And Amsterdam is more of a dream at this point. But there is a possibility of us living abroad next summer in London. Any thoughts from my international readers would be awesome.

I have been living here since 1995 and have no regrets. Sometimes miss friends and family in the US, but the quality of life here is great. The only thing that sucks is the weather.
nice hoofddorp, yeah, my wife was there this week and had and amazing time….(i was jealous)…..maybe we can have a pint there one day…..or something else…dz
