Dylan's Birthday!

My daughter's birthday is today, Dylan is one! I can't believe it...She shares a birthday with Abraham Lincoln....And Andrew Silverman (City Crab, Steak Frites) I feel like it's my birthday too (Yes, like the beatles)....She's the love of my life...She makes all the craziness seem so simple, she is sitting in her play box right now playing with these mexican clappers I picked up on our honeymoon almost 5 years ago.....The nanny is moving so I have her all day...And we are going to Moxie Spot to meet her friend Eva and my friend Nicole.  And New York is thawing out....And the sun is out...And it's the weekend! Have a great one y'all....The picture above was taken in New Orleans in the Warehouse District the weekend The Saints won the Super Bowl....Dylan went to her first Madi Gras (And so did I) and there is so much warmth and spirit right now in New Orleans that it makes me want to jump on for the ride...But Brooklyn is our home and New York is where Dylan was born and this place has allowed us to live the life we've always wanted.  The museums, the lack of need for a car, Dylan is truly a child of the city and we can't take that away from her....Here's to you New York!
