It's a beautiful day
To be at the park
The sun is covered
The clouds are dark
The rain comes and goes
And the wind blows the flag
The swings are still wet
But at least we brought a rag
There's no one here but us
For some summer won't end
But the only constant in life
Is reality my friend
Another child appears
She is 7 years old
But her mother is too busy to play
Cause she's talking on the phone
And then I swing on my own
And I remember what it was like
To be a child looking down
At a grass field filled with bikes
And I want to jump over the fence
But I don't want to break my leg
I remember what it was like
When I used to have to beg
But now I'm in a better place
As far as I can see
Cause the only constant in life is reality
for me
