THINGS ON MY MIND: while you wait for your http://www.stumptowncoffee.com/ whether that be a latte, cap, specialty drinks, don't just assume your drink is the next one they are making. I was waiting for my cap. the other day and this older women with her daughter who just had a baby (yes, in bk, can u believe it?!)....who was BEHIND me in line, just assumed her's was the next drink and tried to take my cap! so the guy working the register says, "Ms...That is not your drink..." it was suppose to be to go, but he thought i said for here, so he put it in a to go cup which only filled the cup up 3/4 of the way and by this point I was so over the situation that I walked out with not even a full small cap.....oh people, we are not the only one's that exist, I guess i should just give her the benefit of the doubt but this stuff is happening to me more and more lately or maybe I'm just realizing it. Like how I almost got run over by a guy texting down Court St. just now....
NEW BK SPOTS: what else...I've become friends with Jeff Lederman, the owner of Bocca Lupo http://nymag.com/restaurants/reviews/underground/21972/ and now he's opening a new gastro pub on court street which should be our bk scenes new local fav....it's going to be across the street from http://www.thechocolateroombrooklyn.com/
which is next to the cobble hill car service (not great) and the cobble hill cinema ($6.50 matinees, saw greenberg there)...
WORD ON THE STREET: Is that http://www.searsucker.com/ on Smith St. isn't all that and my boy said if you like your southern food spicy, don't go here....I'll still have to check it though....
