The Statue Of Liberty

I run down to the promenade many days during the spring and get to witness The Statue Of Liberty, the place my Grandfather came on a boat by himself with his cousin at 11 years old another century, another lifetime ago.....We see that monument and we know what it is to be an American and how much we sacrifice and will continue to sacrifice, but now we are at a cross roads, and now we must ask ourselves, if we are truly ever to be the country we've always promised to its citizens...a place where the possibility of living the American dream is alive and possible.  And with this we must take care of our neighbors.  And we must act as if every decision is our last.  Because life matters, and you don't get a second chance.  And we remember those who have past and those who are not with us.  From high school, from friends to family...life....comes and goes and you must live each day as if it were your last especially in these times, be safe be well my friends....
