family obligations

In the past few years, my family which had been scattered around the country in states like Wisconsin, Florida and Mass., have all commenced here in the New York City area.  So with this comes more family obligations.  When I lived in LA I started getting use to having holidays with friends and in some ways, my friends are my family.  Now I have no choice but to spend countless hours with my family especially since baby Dylan was born.  And today is Sunday and I must attend a family event on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and y'all know how much I enjoy my sundays, with my friends, football, drinks, new york times, napping, lazy sunday .)

ugh, so is life!
