Everything is not as black and white as it used to be. Men went to work and women stayed home and raised children. That was the American dream. But life is different now. There are more "Stay-At-Home" Dads now than ever before in this country. But even the expression "Stay-At-Home" sounds dated. Like "Soccer Moms". Technology allows us to pursue our careers without having to be at an office all day. I like the expression "Being Around" better. "Being Around" to help out with the kiddies. "Being Around" to pick them up from school. "Being Around" to make dinner for the fam. "Being Around" because people with flexible schedules are just around. Like I said, everything is not so black and white. And that's a good thing.

True dat. I've just come to grips with how my kids won't have mom at home when they grow up like I did. Now my workplace is changing to more home office and mobile office. I can't see how that will affect my parenting, but I do see it means another change. Who knows - I might be working from the playground one day.
nice papa rockt, what do you do for a living? dz
