you get what you give? you get what you pay for….and we live in a post modern world where time is of the essence…..people like clips anyways….1 minute and 30 seconds long is plenty….it's a statement…i played in jam bands in college…i'm in a different state in my songwriting….I want to write pop songs like short punk songs ala minutemen…..nice name drop….but these days, you can like everything…and be influenced by everything….& just like these posts….and insta posts and other blog posts….make your statement and get out…I used to love playing open mikes….like down at the anti folk in the east village at sidewalk cafe…if you coming out and want to try out some songs try them there….and tell them I sent you….and make sure you know your song well before you start singing:)
