The "Guys With Kids" that I know hang out at parks and run through sprinklers and play tag with their kids. And rock their babies to sleep. And no one is laughing at them. Or at least they shouldn't be. These guys with babies strapped to them are fearless. Because they don't care what people think about them. They may have a target on their back that says, "Hey, I just lost my job and I'm watching my kids these days," but one thing these guys aren't looking for is your sympathy. Because everyone is dealing with their own demons these days. And these guys that you pity probably quit their jobs in the first place. And they're embracing their new role in the world. These guys with kids aren't afraid of what anyone thinks. (I may have said that already, but I like reinforcing my opinion). These guys with kids are breaking new terrain. Breaking the stigma in what it means to be a dad. What it means to be a man. And they get to explore the world with their kids. How amazing is that?
